Bolling, Woolf, Ohanyan & Nisic
Beatboxing is the art with which Nerses Ohanyan amazes his listeners. Hip-hop has reinvented this ancient percussion technique. Nerses makes what is actually impossible true: imitating a rhythm machine with mouth, nose, lips and throat and thus drumming in a self-determined way while playing the flute with high virtuosity.
In the Duo Nerses, he has joined forces with accordionist Miroslav Nisić, one of the most impressive virtuosos of his instrument. Miroslav is also a member of the quartet Uwaga, which captivated the audience at the chamber concerts at the Kunstverein in 2021 and brought them to standing ovations.
The audience experienced a breathtakingly virtuoso concert that knew absolutely no boundaries of genres and masterfully found its very own form of expression. The two outstanding musicians in the Riphahn Hall were given a standing ovation for this fantastic concert.
