As one of the leading saxophone quartets on the scene, the quartet performs throughout Germany in major concert halls such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Kölner Philharmonie and the Residenz in Munich.
Founded in 2017, the four musicians met at the Cologne University of Music in Daniel Gauthier's class. In 2022, they completed their chamber music studies with Han-An Liu, also in Cologne. In 2023, their debut CD was released by GENUIN with works by Johann Christian Bach, Alexander Glasunow and two commissioned compositions by Konstantia Gourzi (OPUS KLASSIK 2023 in the Composer of the Year category) and Helena Cánovas i Parés. One of their compositions will also be on the programme as part of our focus © NRW.
