With their programme ‘Mediterranean Summer Night’, the large seven-piece Cologne Classical Ensemble gave a special summer concert at the chamber concerts in the Humboldt Hall. Baroque, classical and romantic solo concertos were combined with virtuoso Spanish music and artistic tango works. Here we have put together a review with concert video.
The soloists Alexander Prushinskiy (violin), Lena Kravets (violoncello) and Tobias Kassung (guitar) put their instruments in the spotlight in an atmospheric and highly virtuosic way. It was a delight for connoisseurs and at the same time a real experience for all those who perhaps rarely attend a classical concert and wanted to introduce their children to the captivating world of classical music for the first time.
