Since winning the prestigious Young Concert Artists Auditions in New York in 2012 and second prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels in 2015, Aleksey Semenenko has been considered one of the world's elite violinists. Together with pianist Inna Firsova, they have formed a permanent duo for many years and perform in the most renowned concert halls and festivals:
including at the Berlin Philharmonic as part of the Musical Olympus Festival, at Schloss Elmau, at the Usedom Music Festival, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Korsholm Festival in Finland, the International Music Festival in Cervo, Italy, and many more. At the 67th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, they won the jury and television prize Orlando for ‘Best Concert’ of the festival. Their concert at the chamber concerts in the Humboldt Hall will be a major highlight and conclusion of the 2025 annual programme.
