We have organized at short notice a charity concert with Aleksey Semenenko and Inna Firsova on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at the private home of our Board of Trustees Chair Christiane von Velsen.

With the key word "Semenenko" you can support us in this help and make donations to our account:

Aleksey Semenenko, professor of violin at the Folkwang University in Essen, played a concert in the Kiev Philharmonic two days before the invasion and thus got caught in the middle of the war action. The FAZ reported on his odyssey and his initially impossible departure in the article "Next door, hell began":

Now he is here again and would like to tell about his experiences and this especially with the words that are closest to him, namely through the music! Accompanied by his wife, the pianist Inna Firsova - both are closely connected with our ensemble and also still deeply in the memory of our audience with their outstanding concert at the chamber concerts:

We will also collect donations at the concert with the Morgenstern Trio, this Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 6 pm at the Kölnischer Kunsteverein. We will report about the concrete help to the Ukrainian artists on our website.
